DRM Food Drive

Brown bags of groceries breaking is usually a defeating circumstance that leaves the load carrier frustrated.  On September 21st many people came into Crosspointe church with their arms around a brown bag of groceries in which the handle had torn, and some of them, the bags themselves were filled too full and the sides were bursting...but the faces that carried those bags were smiling faces, not faces of frustration or contention.  

They were serving and they were aware that the load their arms were carrying was going to help so many in our community who often wonder where their next meal will come from.  

 

At the end of the day, with 1 weeks notice, we had approximately 230 bags of groceries stockpiled in our information center.  Bags of food.  Food that will fill empty stomachs.  Stomachs that need reminding that there is hope.  Hope that can be found and the God who created them has a plan, and cares about their needs.
