Eddie Mullins — Student Pastor
How do you help students become passionate about Jesus when
it seems like we already have everything we want? Is God just
one more hobby or extracurricular activity to add to a
teenager’s busy life?
Eddie Mullins joined the Crosspointe team as Student Pastor in 2007.
He is driven by helping students from 6th through 12th grade see
Jesus as He is — not as one more thing to listen to someone merely
talk about, or one more idea that generates more activities — but as
the central need of our lives. Eddie is passionate about awakening
students to a life-changing relationship with our God that not only
changes us, but the schools, jobs, families, neighborhoods and world
we live in.
Eddie and Tracy make a great team both in their marriage and in
how they pursue ministry with and to students. They are both
dedicated to helping students and their families enjoy the kind of
meaningful, connected relationships God intends for us.
Eddie and Tracy moved from Jacksonville, Florida, where, during
his tenure as a “Blizzard Professional” at Dairy Queen (when he
was 15), he became a die-hard football fan — especially of the
Florida State Seminoles. He’s since picked up a liking for playing
XBOX 360 and Ultimate Frisbee. His nerd-esque collection and
obsession with all things Star Wars, however, comes from a
galaxy far, farther away than the Sunshine State.
