Pam McKerring — Pastor of Mobilization

When we become more convinced of God’s love for all people,

we also begin to notice a growing love for all people within ourselves.

We become increasingly aware that what He wants for people is

often at odds with what people call their life. Something has to be done.

Someone must carry God’s transformative love into the lives of people

who have no voice - to those who have no money, opportunities or choices-

to those who often don’t even have food, water or medication.

How do we bring this love to people with no way out and no hope?

Pam McKerring serves at Crosspointe as the Pastor of Mobilization to help

people in our community act on this growing love and awareness of others.

To help people pursuing Christ to actually know the poor and hopeless here

in the Triangle and around the world. To carry and deliver hope.To get
connected, hands and feet, to the mission locally and globally at Crosspointe,

whether as an individual or in a Life Group, Pam's role is to help that happen.

Pam has an extensive background working with poverty-stricken and
marginalized people. She worked for years with Outreach Inc. in Indianapolis,
doing case management and putting together teams to ensure that the homeless
were being cared for and given a chance to climb out of the ruts they found
themselves in. She also lived in Arusha, Tanzania for two years, establishing a
community health evangelism project to equip those living in the slums to rise up
out of their seemingly hopeless circumstances. This is why Pam, to our knowledge,
is the only Swahili speaking staff member.

When Pam isn't trying to connect those who have to those who do not, you'll find
her trying out yet another gluten free recipe, in a blanket on the couch with a book,
getting lost in the woods, or planning another trip to get out of the office.
